The Story We're Weaving

Every community already has what it needs to care for one another.

We saw students walking into school without everyday essentials. Teachers were quietly meeting those needs however they could, often with limited resources. At the same time, we saw closets full of perfectly good, sometimes NEW clothing, businesses eager to support their neighborhoods, and community members asking "how" can they help.


We realized something BIGGER.


The answer wasn't simply collecting more donations.


The answer was creating better CONNECTIONS.

It Started with Clothing...but it was never just about clothing.

Imagine a future where no student worries about having clothes to wear. Where every business knows how to give back and where generosity is woven into everyday life. That's the future we're building. 


Today we're building the school clothing closets. 


Tomorrow we're building a movement where communities naturally care for one another. 


Every thread we weave brings us one step closer to that future.

Threads of Love Project was founded by Savannah Vargas, a Sacramento mother, who saw firsthand, how something as simple as clothing could affect a student's confidence and sense of belonging. 

What began as a local effort to support schools, has quickly grown into broader vision of connecting schools, businesses, nonprofits, churches, and neighbors through everyday acts of generosity.
